Hello and welcome! My name is Vanessa and my pronouns are she/her/hers. I am the self appointed director of food and fun, I am short and silly, a lover of animals, travel, and food. I love connecting with people, petting all the dogs, snuggling all the cats, and of course yoga.

Yoga came into my life during high school over 20 years ago (I realize I just dated myself). By some stroke of luck my physical education 20 teacher decided that in order for the students to establish a healthy lifestyle it meant teaching them more than how to dodge a ball or run 400 meters. It was a moment of clarity. Realizing that there was more than one way to move my body it took me on a journey that has spanned 2 full decades.

I took my first 200HR teacher training in Bali with Kate Gillespie and Matt Phippin in 2017 and I haven’t looked back since. I am always looking to learn and grow in my own personal practice as well as how I can share yoga with others. I love bringing together the deep roots and tradition of yoga with modern movement.
